With more than two decades of experience in the field, I bring a wealth of expertise as an interior designer. My professional journey commenced at the esteemed Beringer Architects, a widely recognized and Architectural Digest published firm. Beringer Architects, renowned for its collaborations with industry giants such as Alberto Pinto in Paris and Colfax and Fowler in London, provided me with enriching experiences on projects spanning Manhattan, Connecticut, and New Jersey.

Following my tenure at Beringer Architects, I embarked on an extraordinary opportunity with another award-winning firm, Alexandra Champalimaud Studio. With offices in Montreal and New York, the studio primarily focused on hospitality design. Alexandra, envisioning a niche in residential design, entrusted me with the role of Director of Residential Design. Under my leadership, we achieved the prestigious Interior Design Giants award for residential design. I oversaw design teams and furniture designers, contributing to projects in diverse locations, including Snowmass, Taos, New York, and New Jersey. Additionally, I collaborated on notable hotel projects such as the Carlyle, Pierre, Fairmont San Francisco, Rancho Mirage, Chica Lodge, and the Intercontinental in Paris. I also crafted a furniture line showcased at the ROOM furniture showroom in New York, drawing inspiration from international vendors in London, Olympia, Cabral Moncada in Portugal, and various antique shows and auctions in Paris and New York.

While the experience with Alexandra was fulfilling, my desire to focus on the Tri-State area led me to establish Laura Stokes Design, LLC. With support from Venture Capitalists, I secured shared space in New York. Through a blend of wonderful clients and referrals, I've cultivated a firm dedicated to fostering strong client relationships and achieving design excellence.
